The "special something" of Tux is due to a combination of diverse nature, natural cordiality, and real tradition! One level above the rest, at 1,300 to 3,250 m altitidue, you'll find Tux - an idyllic high alpine valley at the inner end of the Zillertal with ideal dimensions for a challenging holiday in the mountains.

Tux is a village spreading out over 8 km and made up by the 5 smaller villages Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit, and Hintertux. They are small characteristically Tyrolean villages, and together with the Hintertux Glacier they form a nature and sport paradise for the entire family - 365 days a year!

Each day, the Tux sport/hiking bus will bring you from location to location - completely free. During the winter months, the Tux night bus operates until 2:20 in the morning and takes you from date to date for very little money!
